Yubitsume (指詰め) is a ritual used in Japan by the yakuza, in which a person amputates their little finger joint with a sharp knife. It's a way to apologize for violating the yakuza code or for failing a superior in the hierarchy. You borrowed money from a yakuza boss to realize your dream and open your own sushi restaurant in the best area of Tokyo. Unfortunately, business went bad and you couldn't repay the debt. You were captured and locked in a laundry room. At 24:00, the Yakuza boss arrives and you have to conduct yubitsume to cover your debt.
