You were kidnapped by a sadistic serial killer, but he chose not to kill you, at least not now. He wants you to prove your worth to society by playing his game by his rules. If you want to get out of this game alive, you have to solve puzzles and make sacrifices. This is the only way you can "prove" yourself. He's following you, he's contacting you, part of him wants you to win the game and part of him wants you to crash miserably. You and your friends must show him that your lives are worth something, if you can't escape, you will die.
